• Trusted contact management and memorial access control
• Check-in system with escalation procedures

User Accounts

You are responsible for safeguarding your account credentials and for all activities under your account. You must provide accurate information and keep it updated. You must be at least 18 years old to use this service.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to use LifeDraft.ai to:

• Create content that impersonates another person without authorization
• Upload malicious content or attempt to compromise our systems
• Violate any applicable laws or regulations
• Harass, abuse, or harm others
• Share content that infringes on intellectual property rights

Content Ownership

You retain ownership of all content you create on LifeDraft.ai, including interview responses, voice recordings, vault contents, and personal stories. By using our service, you grant us a limited license to process this content solely for the purpose of providing the service.

Memorial Representations

You understand and acknowledge that:

• Memorial representations are AI-powered and based on content you provide
• Memorials are not a replacement for the actual person and will always identify as a memorial representation
• AI responses are generated based on your content but may not perfectly reflect what you would say in every situation
• You are responsible for the accuracy of the content you provide

Trusted Contacts and Memorial Access

By designating trusted contacts, you authorize them to:

• Participate in verification processes
• Access your memorial according to the permissions you set
• Receive vault contents according to your release rules

You are responsible for ensuring your trusted contacts understand their role and responsibilities.

Check-In System and Memorial Activation

The check-in system is designed to verify your wellbeing and trigger memorial activation when appropriate. You understand that:

• Missed check-ins may initiate an escalation process
• Trusted contacts may be notified and asked to verify your status
• Memorial activation is based on the verification process you configure
• You can cancel escalation at any time by responding to check-ins

Payment and Subscription

Paid features are available through subscription plans. By subscribing, you agree to:

• Pay the fees associated with your chosen plan
• Automatic renewal unless you cancel before the renewal date
• Our refund policy as stated on our pricing page

Service Availability

We strive to maintain high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features with reasonable notice when possible.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, LifeDraft.ai shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or other intangible losses.

Indemnification

Termination

After memorial activation, your data will be handled according to your settings and the permissions you've granted to trusted contacts. Designated executors may request account modifications or deletion in accordance with applicable laws.

Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. We will provide notice of material changes via email or through the service. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

Governing Law

These terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which LifeDraft.ai operates, without regard to conflict of law principles.
